About Zina Vladimirsky
About the Fund
-
Goals:
This fund was
established by friends and family of Zina Vladimirsky to
commemorate her life & to sponsor select Music & Performing Arts
events conducted at the Oshman
Family Jewish Community Center (Palo Alto, CA). Zina was always
very passionate about most things, and cultural events organized at the
OFJCC by her husband Boris Vladimirsky played a major role in her
life. We felt that sponsoring such events in the future
would be a good way to celebrate her life & to cherish her
memory. Our continuing support of the Fund makes it
possible to bring more high quality performers to
Schultz Cultural Hall.
-
Status:
This Fund is maintained as a
restricted account within the OFJCC. The Fund is not used
to cover any of the general operating expenses of the JCC but
instead underwrites & co-sponsors select Performing Arts events.
All descriptions of and advertising materials for such
performances include an acknowledgement of this Fund's role in
making these events possible. (A list of already sponsored
& soon-to-be-sponsored events is included below.) All donations contributed to
the Fund are tax-deductible & will be used exclusively for the
purposes listed above.
